Debit Acceptance
Debit transactions have become a popular form of payment among consumers. There are two types of debit transactions: PIN-based (online) and signature debit (offline).

 

• PIN-based (online) debit is the least expensive method of accepting debit cards. Graphite Payments can enable PIN-based debit through payment terminals that have built-in PIN pads or by external PIN pad devices that can be handed across counters and through drive-through windows.
  
  
• Signature debit (offline) is processed similar to a credit card transaction. This debit method does not require a customer to enter a PIN number, but it does require a signature.
